Two taken to hospital after Bromsgrove crash

TWO people were taken to hospital after a car crash in Bromsgrove just after 12.45pm today (Friday).

The incident happened at the junction of Fox Lane and Breakback Road.

A West Midlands Ambulance Spokesperson said three rapid response vehicles, one driven by a paramedic area support officer and another by a BASICS Emergency Doctor attended, along with two ambulance crews.

One of the women - in her 30s - was taken to the major trauma unit at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital after sustaining a serious spinal injury.

The driver of the other car, a man in his 20s, had a less serious spinal injury, was taken to the Alexandra Hospital.
