THOUSANDS of pounds worth of jewellery have been stolen during burglaries at three Bromsgrove homes in two days.
Thieves ransacked a house in Rutherford Road near Aston Fields between 7.50am and 2pm on Monday (June 11), escaping with a haul worth around £2,400. The items taken included a £500 40 inch Sony TV, a £500 game console, a £400 Seiko watch, a £500 Tissot watch, a £200 Hugo Boss watch, a £80 Diesel watch and a £200 gold Welsh dragon signet ring.
The items, along with cash and documents that were also stolen, were recovered from a field in Tardebigge.
A neighbour's house was hit on the same day between 12.30pm and 2.15pm, where a set of car keys and a large amount of jewellery were taken.
On Tuesday (June 12), electrical items including a Nintendo Wii, Panasonic Blu-Ray player, a Fuji camera, along with several pieces of jewellery, were taken about a mile away from a home in Paradise Row by the High Street, between 8.30am and 5.55pm.
Det Con Adrian Smith, from Bromsgrove CID, said: "As these burglaries took place during the day it is possible that someone may have seen the offenders in the area either before or at the time of the burglaries."
The police stressed the burglaries were not being linked.
Anyone with any information on the incidents in Rutherford Road should call DC Smith or anyone with any information on the Paradise Row burglary should call DC Guinivan.
