A new vision for Grand Prix fans

By Jamie Arrowsmith 14/06 Updated: 21/06 16:40

THE 2012 Formula One season is proving to be one of the most exciting and unpredictable ever with the first seven races of the season being won by seven different drivers.

Lewis Hamilton's victory in Canada on Sunday was the second success of the year for McLaren Mercedes with Jenson Button also having taken the chequered flag in Australia.

So with the British drivers performing well, the fast approaching British Grand Prix could arrive at the perfect time for the thousands of fans who will pack into Silverstone from July 6 to 8.

And for all those fans in attendance, there is now the chance to get closer to the action than ever with the help of the FanVision G3 broadcasting device.

The world’s premier live-event broadcast solution provides fans with the best of both worlds - the excitement of being 'there' live and the benefits of a broadcast telecast’s coverage of an event from multiple angles and perspectives.

The device has a 4.3 inch screen, five-hour battery life and ten live video feeds - including eight onboard cameras.

As well as that it offers official timing, race statistics and data, instant replays, expert analysis, live commentary and access to the team radios.

It is also enjoys its own dedicated UHF signal to deliver broadcasts free from loading or buffering time, helping give fans instant access to all of the on-track action.

FanVision is not only popular with the fans, as the devices have become standard equipment in the Formula One paddock and are used by all teams and officials.

FanVision is an official team supplier to McLaren Mercedes who use custom team-branded devices, while the standard FanVision G3 controller is being used by every Formula One team.

Lotus, Marussia, Sahara Force India, Red Bull Racing and Mercedes AMG Petronas are among the teams to have supplied the product to both their guests and their driver engineers whilst teams are increasingly using FanVision for its exclusive content and data, which can help them to gain a competitive advantage.

FanVision devices are available to rent for the weekend or buy outright by visiting fanvision.com/f1. Save by booking online in advance or pay a bit more on the day at various Silverstone kiosks throughout the British Grand Prix weekend, whilst stocks last.
