BROMSGROVE'S Olympic hopeful, cyclist Jess Varnish, has proved she is talented off the track as well as on it, after creating a fleet of patriotic designs for online grocer Ocado's delivery vans.
Jess, 21, who took gold at the cycling World Championships in February and smashed a world record, has put together three different designs.
The first has been inspired by The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover and features her favourite British foods.
Another classic British design has a Union Flag, made up of tiny cyclists, and a crown depicted on it.
And the third one is inspired by champagne, which Jess hopes to be spraying if Team GB scoop gold in Stratford next month.
At the launch of her vans, Jess said: “I am incredibly proud to be British, so getting to design three celebratory vans for Ocado was a fantastic opportunity for me to get creative.
"I love each of my designs so much that I can’t decide which one is my favourite and I can’t wait to see them on the road.
“Being an athlete, you have to be in peak condition and, obviously, food is an incredibly important part of that.
"You can’t compete or train to the best of your ability without having good fuel."
