BROMSGROVE's Hayley Newnes survived the first chop as the stakes were raised on the rookie reporter show 'The Exclusives' last night (Thursday).
After three solid performances including earning 'Rookie of the Week' in the first episode, the former NEW college pupil made it to week four, as Chris was the first to leave the ITV2 reality programme.
Hayley said: "As soon as someone went, it hits you - you're on the longest interview of your life.
"We're competing against each other but we've automatically become close.
"Its like a member of the family leaving."
On last night's show the contestants were working for Closer magazine. Hayley, got to direct a photoshoot with Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton, before interviewing This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield.
"Holly and Phil are television royalty and they are two of the nicest people I've ever met.
"It was an amazing experience," she said.
All three episodes of The Exclusives are available to watch on the ITV player before next weeks show on Thursday (June 7), 9pm, ITV2.
