Man assaulted outside Bromsgrove kebab shop

A MAN suffered bruises to his face after being assaulted in Bromsgrove in the early of hours of Saturday (May 26).

The attack on the victim, who is in his 20s and needed hospital treatment, took place between 1am and 4am while he was sitting on a wall opposite Charlie's Kebab Shop, Worcester Road.

The attacker, who was in his late teens with a shaved head, fled when passers-by went to help the victim.

PC Ian Ruff said: "We are eager to hear from anyone who was in the area that evening and saw the assault, particularly those who helped the victim."
