THIS knitted Royal Family, featuring HM The Queen, Prince Philip and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, was done by Catshill hair stylist Gwen Porter.
Gwen works at the village's Avent Garde salon where the creations have been on display and have been much-admired.
Fellow stylist Steph Hossack told The Standard: "The customers love them - they all think the Queen is the best."
And they will take pride of place tomorrow (Saturday), when the salon and the shops either side - Village Pets and The Village Bakery - hold an all-day Diamond Jubilee party. Those who pop in will be able to see the knitted Royal Family as they enjoy tea, cake and sandwiches.
