A PRODUCTION of Annie Get Your Gun is being performed by Bromsgrove Operatic Society (BOS) at Artrix next month.
The show is based on the true story of Annie Oakley, a country girl and sharpshooter who becomes the star of a Wild West show, where she falls in love with fellow performer and marksman Frank Butler.
The popular piece features well-known numbers, including There’s No Business Like Show Business, Doin’ What Comes Natur’lly and You Can’t Get a Man with a Gun.
BOS chairman Ian Cox said: “This magnificent Broadway musical is one for the whole family and, with rehearsals in full swing, we look forward to a successful week at Artrix.”
The show takes place from May 14 to 19. Tickets cost £12 on the Monday, £13 Tuesday and Wednesday and £14 Thursday, Friday and Saturday. To book visit www.artrix.co.uk or call 01527 577330.
