BROMSGROVE youngsters are being urged to enter an art competition being run by the town's Artyfacts Gallery and Framing shop to celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Entry is free to the contest, which challenges children aged from five to nine to draw or paint a picture related to the jubilee.

Those who enter could be in with a chance of having their artwork professionally framed, along with scooping a craft session at Jet's Craft Cafe and bumper packs of art materials.

There is a free bag of sweets from Bromsgrove's Sweetz for every entry, along with a 20 per cent framing discount.

Application forms are available from Artyfacts, The Strand, and the closing date for entries is May 19.

The best pieces will be put on display at Artyfacts during the jubilee weekend.
