ARTRIX is set to host two plays by one of England’s greatest 20th century playwrights this month.
Harold Pinter’s The Dumb Waiter and The Lover will be presented by European Arts from 8pm on Wednesday (April 25).
Comedy and menace collide in the one-act play The Dumb Waiter which tells the story of two hit men waiting in a basement room to do a job when strange messages keep appearing via a serving hatch.
In The Lover, Richard commutes into the city for a life of balance sheets and graphs while his wife Sarah shows her lover the hollyhocks.
Tickets cost £14 (£12 concessions) and are available from www.artrix.co.uk or call 01527 577330.
