A CHARITY Variety Show will be held at Longbridge Social Club next Friday (April 27) to raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance.

A multitude of acts will take to the stage throughout the evening, which has been organised by John Scott and starts at 8pm.

Among those performing in the first half of the show will be award-winning vocalist Daniel Ballard, guitarist and singer Nigel Miles and international comedian Lee Wilson.

The second half will see international vocalist Tracy Jordan, musician Ian Lockyer and the fantastic Mustard Band perform their sets.

John, who was, until recently, the president of the Birmingham Entertainment Secretaries' Council, told The Standard: "It promises to be a fantastic evening - I would like to give special thanks to the Longbridge Social Club for its support and all the acts who are giving their services for free."

Tickets, which are £3, are available from the club or by calling John Scott on 0121 453 2759.
