Easter weekend church services in Bromsgrove, Rubery and Droitwich

All Saints Church

Today (Good Friday), there will be a children's workshop at 10am, prayers at the Methodist Centre at 10.15am and the Walk of Witness at 10.30am. Between 2pm and 3pm at Christ Church, there will be Good Friday reflection. Tomorrow (Saturday), there will be an Easter Vigil and the Service of First Light at 8pm. And on Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be Sung Holy Communion at 10am.

Alvechurch Baptist Church

On Easter Sunday (April 8), at 10.30am, there will be an Easter celebration with decoration of the cross. There will be Churches Together Songs of Praise at 6.30pm.

Beacon Church Centre, Rubery

Today (Good Friday) at 10am, there will be the Walk of Witness from Our Lady's, via The Beacon, British Legion, New Road to St Chad's. At 7.30pm, there will be worship led by Ian Ring and Terry Thompson - joint with St Chad's in St Chad's Parish Church. The theme will be 'The Son of God - the Empty Cross'. On Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be worship led by Ian Ring on 'The Son of God - the risen Lord'. At 8am, there will be Communion and at 11am, there will be worship with communion and induction of elders. There will be worship at 6.30pm.

Bromsgrove Baptist Church

On Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be a Sunrise Service at Lickey Hills Country Park at 7am and all-age worship for Easter Sunday at 10.45am, on the theme 'Know the Joy of New Life with Jesus'. The service will be led by Rev Paul Lewis.

Bromsgrove Methodist Church

Today (Good Friday) there will be the Walk of Witness at 10am. After that, there will be a short devotional service at the centre and reflective worship at 7.30pm. On Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be Communion at 8am, breakfast at 8.45am and all-age worship at 10.30am. There will also be evening worship at Catshill at 6pm with Ian Athey.

Droitwich Methodist Church,

Today (Good Friday), there will be Holy Week Prayers at 8am, the churches' together Walk of Witness at 10.15am (meet at Sacred Heart church). Tonight, at 7.30pm, there will be the Good Friday Service of the senses. On Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be a Churches Together Dawn Service at 6.15am in St Augustine’s church garden. At 9am, there will be Holy Communion and at 10.30am, there will be a family service with Communion.

Droitwich Parish,

Today (Good Friday), there will be prayers at Sacred Heart at 10.15am, followed by a Walk of Witness and service in Victoria Square. There will be meditation at St Andrew's at 12midday until 1pm and then a quiet hour for personal prayer there. At 2pm, there will be a Proclamation of the Cross and the Good Friday Liturgy, with Communion, at St Andrew's. On Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be Holy Communion at St Augustine's at 8am, Holy Communion and Children's Church at St Peter's at 9.30am, Sung Eucharist at St Andrew's at 10.30am and Baptism at St Peter's at 12.30pm. There will also be an Easter Morning Dawn Service at 6.15am at St Augustine's, followed by breakfast at 6.45am. And there will be Easter Praise at St Nicholas' at 5pm.

Longbridge Methodist Church

Today (Good Friday), there will be worship at 2.30pm. Tomorrow (Saturday), there will be Easter workshops for children between 10am and 12midday. And on Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be Easter Celebration and Communion at 11am.

NewSong Community Church

On Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be a worship service at 10.45am and Easter Day Celebration. The preacher will be John Notman and the theme will be: 'Have You Seen Your Own Grave, Empty?' There will also be a creche and Bible Buddies for youngsters. For more, visit www.newsong.co.uk

Today (Good Friday), there will be An hour at the Cross at 2pm at Martin. On Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be Holy Communion at 8.30am at Martin and Family Communion at 10am at Salwarpe.

St Chad's Church, Rubery

St Leonard's, Frankley

Today (Good Friday), there will be 'The Last Hour With Jesus' at 2pm. On Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be Communion at 8am, Easter Eucharist at 11.15am and Easter Praise at 6.30pm.

St Stephen's, Rednal

Today (Good Friday), there will be Station of the Cross at 9.30am. Tomorrow (Saturday), there will be Holy Communion and Lighting of a New Fire at 7.30pm. And on Easter Sunday (April 8), there will be Holy Communion at 8.30am and Family Communion at 10am.
