BROMSGROVE Sporting picked up a 4-1 friendly victory at home against Chelmsley Town on Saturday.

On an afternoon of positives for the Victoria Ground outfit, Chris Bright made a welcome return from injury, Kevin Banner got 90 minutes under his belt and Keelan McNally impressed at left back.

New goalkeeper George Anderson did what he had to do well whilst Chris Neilson looks a bright prospect at centre half.

The goals came from Robbie Hendry, Mikey Stewart, Peter Jenvey and Dan Wilkes, the latter’s being a superb strike from 30-yards.

Sporting, who sit third in the table, return to Midland Combination Division One action with a trip to tenth placed Feckenham tomorrow (5.30pm).

TWO goals from JJ Evans helped carry the Reserves to a 4-1 victory against Knowle in Reserves Division Two.

Sporting ended their home campaign in style and completely dominated the second half after a even first 45 minutes, Robbie Cox and an own goal completed the scoring.
