THREE men were arrested and a large amount of drugs were recovered after police swooped on a house in Bromsgrove town centre in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Following the raid, the substances, believed to be Class A drugs, are currently being tested.
Det Insp Terry Shore said it was important to get the drugs off the streets of Bromsgrove because they had the potential to cause a great deal of misery for people - from the users and their families to the general public targeted by those who stole to fund their habit.
"We will continue to tackle the issue and take positive action against anyone involved in their production, use and supply," he added.
And he said, when it came to tackling drug-dealing, the police relied on the community to supply officers with information on illegal activity.
"If members of the public suspect drugs are being produced or supplied at an address, please come forward and tell us," he said
Anyone with any information should call West Mercia Police on 0300 333 3000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The three men arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug are currently in custody at Redditch Police Station, assisting officers with their inquiries.
