WHETHER you are an experienced tennis player or a complete beginner, Bromsgrove Tennis Club has something for everyone.
The club, located in St Godswalds Road in Aston Fields, has eight outdoor courts which are used every day of the week by players from the age of four to the late 80s.
It does not matter whether you want to play socially to keep fit and get some fresh air or are keen to compete in the County Leagues, there are opportunities for everyone.
For the adults, social tennis takes place for men and women on Tuesday morning and evening and Sunday morning and evening.
For those wanting to improve, there are group lessons for beginners on Wednesday evening and improvers on Thursday morning and Thursday evening.
Individual tuition is available throughout the week for private lessons whilst for those that are sitting on the fence and wondering if they should be competing in a league, social tennis tournaments are held throughout the year where you can try out tennis with a more competitive edge.
The club has 15 adults teams, six mens, six ladies and three mixed, currently playing in the Winter League and all members are eligible to play.
For the juniors there are group classes on Mondays and Fridays and individual tuition during the week.
In addition, and for those budding tennis superstars of the future, there are tournaments for children from the age of five which run at the club on a regular basis.
As the juniors progress, there are opportunities for them to integrate into the adult teams and this is actively encouraged.
On top of that, tennis and general sporting activities take place during the day in the school holidays.
Finally, if you simply want to play on your own with friends during the week then you are still welcome to go along and play.
