MUMS and dads with babies who want to go out and watch a film no longer have to worry about organising childcare, thanks to a new venture from Bromsgrove’s Artrix.
The School Drive venue is holding its first parent and baby screening, which will be ‘My Week With Marilyn’, at 7.30pm on Tuesday (January 31).
Helen O’Donnell, who has organised the event, said it was being held in the evening so both parents could have a night out with their newborn, which was difficult to achieve if mum was feeding and did not want to leave baby.
The auditorium will be open, similar to a standing event, so there will be plenty of room for buggies and prams to safely move around.
It is being sponsored by RealNappiness in Bromsgrove which will be providing complimentary eco nappies and wipes for baby changing rooms.
Babies are free and usual prices apply - admission is £6 (£5 concessions).
Tickets are available by calling 01527 577330 or at www.artrix.co.uk.
