A SOUTH Bromsgrove High School sixth-form student is doing a a parachute jump later this month to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Ella Simpson is undertaking the 10,000ft tandem skydive after being given the challenge for her 17th birthday to help a charity.
She will undertake the jump on January 28 in Nottingham and is hoping to raise £400 for the cause.
She said: "I have always wanted to do a parachute jump, like when I've seen people do it on I'm a Celebrity, but I never thought I would get the chance.
"The Teenage Cancer Trust is a great charity to be doing the jump for - I know some people who have had cancer, so I know what a good cause it is."
