Botown have got The Soul

By Harriet Ernstsons 20/01 Updated: 20/01 10:18

AUDIENCES are set to be taken on a musical journey from Memphis to Mumbai as The Soul of Bollywood comes to the Palace Theatre stage.

Fresh from hitting the number one spot on BBC Asian Network’s chart with their first single Roop Tera, funky fusion band

Botown are set to bring their own unique blend of music to the 7.30pm show on Friday, February 10.

They have been dubbed as Bollywood’s answer to The Commitments, blending elements of soul, blues, jazz and reggae with ‘retro-reboots’ of well-known anthems.

Tickets costing £17.50 (discount £15.50) are available from www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk, in person at the box office or by calling 01527 65203.
