Post office robbed today at axe-point
Tristan Harris 09/05TWO MEN, one armed with an axe and one who had a crowbar, robbed a Bromsgrove post office at 9am this morning (Friday). The pair entered the branch in Parsonage Drive, Cofton Hackett, and used the tools to smash the glass security screens. Drugs and cash seized in town raids
Tristan Harris 09/05HALF A KILO of cannabis, 300 ecstasy tablets, amphetemines in powder form and around £4,000 in cash were all seized in drugs raids across Bromsgrove last Friday morning. The co-ordinated swoops, which targeted three addresses in Catshill and one in Charford, also saw what was thought to be cocaine seized. That substance is currently being analysed by the police. Massive spring plant fair at Hanbury

GREEN-FINGERED residents are being urged to get down to Hanbury Hall on Sunday (May 11) where they can snap up a few plants ready for the summer.
The annual Spring Plant Fair, which starts at 11am and finishes at 4pm, will feature a variety of species, including shrubs, herbs, annuals, perennials and bedding plants that have been grown by the National Trust volunteers in peat-free compost at Hanbury's very own nursery.
